IT Senior Onsite Technician  

Location: South East London

Salary details: £32,000- £35,000 per annum + career average pension scheme + other benefits

About the role:

To work with the local IT cluster of 5 of our school’s in South East London and the wider Ark IT central team to provide excellent customer centric, proactive and reactive support to ensure the continuous availability of the IT network, infrastructure and equipment within the SLA’s and KPI’s as defined. 

A key element of this role will be to assist the Head of Infrastructure in reviewing technical project specifications, creating solution based technical documentation along with a lead technical responsibility for the wider Ark network.

About you:

  • Evidence of well-developed ICT skills
  • MTA/MCSA desirable
  • Experience of Active Directory
  • Experience of identifying and resolving issues relating to the following:
  • Windows, iOS, Mobile Device Management, Google software and Chrome, printers and print management solutions, projectors, IWB’s and other interactive teaching technologies, internet and network connectivity, wireless and local area networks, O365, Sharepoint, School Management Information Systems (Bromcom/Scholarpack), software distribution using automated tools (SCCM), school based software/applications, active directory/operational units, Microsoft Windows 10, Web based back up solutions, network connected SAN and clustering technologies, VMWare
  • Experience of Data Protection Legislation
  • Right to work in the UK
