Event Master Central (EMC) is a centralized Corporate Action Event distribution platform within the Information Services Group (ISG).  ISG employs state-of-the art technologies to facilitate the collection, storage, analysis and distribution of corporate action event data.  The EMC ETL team is looking for a Lead Ab Initio developer to join the development team in Belfast.  The team is responsible for building infrastructure to process and normalize internal and external vendor data feeds into a central data repository.  Data is then extracted and distributed to the various business lines within Citi.

Essential Criteria

  • Strong professional experience with Ab Initio
  • Extensive knowledge of Ab Initio GDE, EME and Conduct>It
  • Strong SQL skills with experience of Oracle 11g, pl-SQL
  • Proficiency in Linux/Shell Scripting to supplement Ab Initio graph functionality
  • Extensive SDLC experience

Desirable Criteria

  • Prior Reference/Corporate Action Data experience
  • Experience with Talend data integration tools
  • Knowledge of SVN, GIT or other source control tools
  • Other useful tools: Autosys, JIRA, Service Now

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with other technical and business teams across multiple locations to gather requirements and deliver robust technical solutions
  • Deliver well designed, stable, testable, maintainable and efficient graphs and plans
  • Ensure designs are in compliance with business specifications and Citi development standards
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to mentor/train junior team members
  • Manage production rollout and execution of developed solutions
  • Provide Level 3 Support and investigate/minimize issues with deployed code

  • Experience of using monitoring tools, such as Tivoli, Splunk or AppDynamics
