My client is seeking a talented and experienced Web Developer to join their team in Daventry.

The successful applicant will be joining a vibrant and motivated company, reporting directly to the IT Director, you will also be expected to work on your own, covering all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

The position would suit a developer who enjoys a client facing role who has a desire for requirements gathering. The role will include a key part in extending and continuously developing the company’s websites and portals, also using RESTful and web services.

My client is looking at taking on a DevOps engineer for an initial 1-month contract which will be outside IR35. They are able to offer 2/3 days remote but the remaining days are needed on-site in Bristol.

They have just migrated from Digital Ocean to Claranet but have a number of new projects coming up they need a hand with.

Due to the project pipeline, if someone has specific integration experience, this will be beneficial for the long term and will mean the contract will be more likely to extend.

Skills / Experience

  • A background working as a Senior Developer but more recent DevOps experience.
  • Linux
  • Ubuntu - this is essential
  • Wordpress exposure/understanding
  • CI / Jenkins
  • Integration experience
  • Any knowledge, understanding or exposure to Claranet would be great.
