Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with ICG application teams to drive rollout of tools, educate teams, and assist with adoption
• Work with developers, operations, auditors and security teams to define and implement best-in-class Continuous Delivery controls
• Develop integrations between strategic tools to enable automated pipelines
• Develop reporting tools to track adoption and usage patterns for senior management

Knowledge/Experience:

• Strong experience in a number of the following: BitBucket/Git, JIRA, TeamCity, IBM UrbanCode Deploy; Harness; Jenkins; SonarQube; Artifactory; Checkmarx; BlackDuck; Contrast; Twistlock; AWS; GCP; OpenShift or Kubernetes
• Proven ability to code against REST APIs, ideally those for the above tools.
• Strong knowledge of full software development, testing, deployment and operational lifecycle
• Experience of supporting products for a large user base

Skills & Competencies

• Good coding skills, ideally in Java/.Net/Javascript or a commonly used scripting language
• Knowledge of API standards and how to work with them.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

In today’s financial markets, firms need to quickly detect and respond to abusive and erroneous trading. The Apama technology solution correlates real-time and historical data using Complex Event Processing to analyse and detect market abuse, manipulation, money laundering and rogue trading across markets and information barriers.

Belfast is the global centre for Citi’s Trade Surveillance software development, with the full SDLC from business requirements through to production support handled by an established local technology team. Demand for more sophisticated surveillance algorithms and handling of larger data feeds requires further growth of the current team. We are seeking a developer with strong OO / Java background to write code relating to new surveillance roll-outs. • Hands on development experience in Java, Java Core/EE, or other OO language(s) (essential)

•  A degree in a Computing, Mathematical, or Engineering discipline (preferred)
