An excellent job opportunity has arisen for a SAP Programme Manager to join a rapidly expanding technology consultancy that specialise in delivering high profile technology transformation programmes for an impressive portfolio of clients.
The Programme Manager will take responsibility for delivering a high-profile Cloud hosted ERP enabled transformation programme. You will oversee the design, development and delivery of an S4 HANA / Success Factors ERP platform, including the controlled and effective transition of high value critical services from legacy technology to the target platform.
The Programme Manager will take responsibility for centralised control and coordinated management of a large-scale ERP and Cloud centric programme for a high profile Central Government client. You will align multiple projects to achieve the programme goals, whilst managing the integrated budget, schedule and effort. This is a client facing role, requiring engagement with both external and internal senior stakeholders.
The Programme Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of a varied portfolio of projects, leading a team in establishing programme direction, tracking progress, communicating programme requirements and resolving conflicts / issues where required. You will represent the organisation at client meetings, ensure alignment of the project plans with the programme goals / benefits and report on the schedule / budget at a programme level.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
- An extensive track record of successful programme delivery
- It is essential that you have proven experience of delivering projects for central government clients
- PRINCE2 Practitioner qualified
- PMI PMP/PgMP or MSP or similar certification will be an advantage
- Experience managing multiple concurrent IT and Business change projects
- Experience in delivery ERP migration programmes successfully – SAP preferred but Oracle considered
- Experience and knowledge of working in an ITO/IT Services environment
- Experience of establishing and delivering cultural and people change management through the delivery process
- Experience leading and managing a PMO
- A proven track record of successful programme/project implementation
- Team management experience; comfortable managing in a matrix environment project teams of up to 30 people.
