Are you a DevOps Engineer looking for a role where you will be challenged on a daily basis?  Would you like to work for a company that demands innovation to deliver the impossible for their clients?  If so, then this role will be what you have been looking for.

The business has a strong presence in the Scottish market after recent high profile project wins including Software, Digital Transformation and Cloud with Clients operating within Financial Services, Public Sector, Betting and Gaming and Insurance.  As a result, they are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to come in and work onsite with one of their clients in Edinburgh to help deliver a very challenging Cloud Infrastructure Platform.

You’ll need the following to be considered:

  • In depth experience with either AWS or Azure
  • In-depth configuration management, automation and scripting skills including use of a scripting languages such as Python or Ruby, or proficiency with shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of platform and application automated deployment technologies (e.g. Cobbler, Puppet, Chef, Tivoli Provisioning Manager, Foreman)
  • Experience in Agile methodologies
  • Excellent Linux system administration skills
  • An understanding of software and infrastructure architecture

*You have technical leadership experience, and are a positive, motivating team lead
*You're a passionate Software Engineer, keen to work with emerging technologies like Kotlin on AWS
*You have strong collaboration skills, able to build robust working relationships
*You're naturally analytical and process-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset
