The business has a strong presence in the Scottish market after recent high profile project wins including Software, Digital Transformation and Cloud with Clients operating within Financial Services, Public Sector, Betting and Gaming and Insurance.  As a result, they are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to come in and work onsite with one of their clients in Edinburgh to help deliver a very challenging Cloud Infrastructure Platform.

You’ll need the following to be considered:

  • In depth experience with either AWS or Azure
  • In-depth configuration management, automation and scripting skills including use of a scripting languages such as Python or Ruby, or proficiency with shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of platform and application automated deployment technologies (e.g. Cobbler, Puppet, Chef, Tivoli Provisioning Manager, Foreman)
  • Experience in Agile methodologies
  • Excellent Linux system administration skills
  • An understanding of software and infrastructure architecture
