Risk Management and Financing provide financing solutions and risk models that allow fund managers to execute a wide range of investment strategies within a framework that is predictable and reliable across all market conditions.

Risk Technology provides products and services covering margin lending risk, clearing risk and trading risk for Prime Services clients across their PB, Futures, GSEC, and DCS businesses. We implement complex house and regulatory margin calculators, provide real time monitoring for client trading activity and build a suite of tools, reports, and risk analytics for internal Risk Managers, Margin Operations and our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

• You will work in partnership with Risk Managers and Strategists to create solutions that meet our clients’ needs, delivering commercial impact while managing risk.
• You will establish and build on relationships with colleagues across Risk, Engineering and Operations teams to refine complex asks into scalable products.
• You will be relied upon to contribute to technical design decisions and apply best practices to deliver highly testable solutions.
• You will be empowered to identify and act on opportunities to improve our products and ways of working that accelerate change and enhance developer experience.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field that involves programming, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in one or more of Java, Python, C, C++ or similar languages.
• Comfortable working on planned development as well as reacting to incidents.
• Ability to work as part of a global team and deliver results quickly, demonstrate initiative and show commercial impact.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

•  Practical experience with distributed systems design and development.
• Strong interpersonal skills and drive. Excellent communication skills, able to contribute to global discussions on design and strategy.
• Knowledge of one or more asset classes (Equities/FX/Credit/Rates/Commodities), pricing or risk a plus.
