Role:

Java Developer                                                Up to £65,000 (dependent upon experience)

You’ll get the chance to work on high-quality projects in a wide variety of sectors including ecommerce organisations, governmental organisations, financial services and much more. These are all greenfield projects, giving you a chance to introduce ideas from the beginning and have a full input throughout the software development life cycle. In addition, as it’s a consultancy with different opportunities, you are able to illustrate your preferences and work on projects that interest you and allow you to be excited each day about the work you’ll be doing.

• Their tech stack focuses around Java; everything is built in cloud-based environments using containerisation and the latest tooling/frameworks within agile teams.
• They’re looking for experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch.
• RESTful services and microservices architecture would be essential for this Senior Java Developer role.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, multi-branch development and branch/merging strategies would be extremely useful, as well as any exposure to CQRS.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Platform team that supports the development of products for web and app across european markets
• Sole focus on creating high quality, structured, reusable and annotated code
• You will have 4+ years' experience and be proficient and be proficient using third party open source packages and relevant code libraries
• You will be a confident communicator and work with multiple departments, contribute to ideas and innovate where required
• Working in Agile environment i.e.Scrum & Kanban
• Experience on QA/Test frameworks such as Selenium, load testing (Blazemeter), unit testing (Mocha/Chia) etc is HIGHLY DESIRABLE.
