Senior Information Architect

Location: Nottingham city center (within walking distance of train station)

Salary: Excellent + 10% bonus

There’s certainly no shortage of architect roles these days. With the technology seeing a massive surge of interest over the last few years, everyone is crying out for the heroes who can implement solutions that us mere mortals could never hope to understand.

So, if we’re being realistic, what sets those roles apart? Is it the money? The challenge? Company brand? What about the opportunity to work for an organisation whose main mission is to help save millions of lives, all across the world?

Well this role is offering all of the above!

With a brand that extends across the globe, this company work closely with the healthcare industry to provide mission critical software / cloud solutions for worldwide clinical trials providers. However, there’s one slight problem…

They don’t have you.

But why would you join them?

Well, apart from amazing benefits, a competitive salary, and

You’ll be the Subject Matter Expert in information architecture within a larger team of 8 others, this will be a mix of expert solution, integration and enterprise architects. Your colleagues will be looking to you to advise them on best practices within your domain, helping to co-ordinate system designers and other implementation staff on creating amazing solutions.

Within your team, you’ll own the data models utilised across all of their solutions, defining best practices across information management and architecture.

Ideally, you’ll be confident with UML Design methodology, whilst having a working knowledge of HL7 / Bridg and FHIR frameworks would also be beneficial, but we’re not looking to put up barriers to entry.

Using your personality and flair, you’ll be able to woo internal stakeholders, alongside occasional external customers.

They’re looking for someone with a couple years under their belt in a technical architect role, with strong experience across the software development lifecycle.

They're a big organisation, so this may not be the best place for people who want to shy away or hide in the corner. You don’t have to be the life of the party, but if you’re comfortable in your own skin and don’t mind mucking in and explaining things to stakeholders from time to time, you’ll be just fine.

There’s no ridiculously long list of requirements in order to ensure you’re successful, and I’m happy to have a chat about the finer details (I’ve rambled on already…)

If you’d like to know more, pop your CV over and let’s have a chat.

I'll tell you everything you want to know.

Solutions Architect (Integration)

Salary: Excellent + benefits

Location: Central Nottingham (walking distance to train station)

There’s a lot of complexity and challenge with most architect roles. So, what makes a good one stand out from the crowd?

Complex, large scale application integration and cloud projects that keep you on your toes? Working as part of a large, highly skilled, diverse dedicated architecture team?

Or maybe it’s working for a major company with real commitment to technical excellence, whose work positively impacts the lives of potentially millions of people all over the world?

Well, what if there was a role that had all of that, as well as a couple of other nice perks to make your life in and out of work a thousand times easier?

It’d be pretty cool, right? (You've probably guessed where this is going...)

As luck would have it, that’s exactly the role you’re reading about right now.

This isn’t one of those roles where you’ll be working with disenfranchised teams or sitting behind the desk all day filling out paperwork and booking in meetings.

When you’re not offering insight, collaborating and helping guide the strategic decisions of your team, you’ll be engaging with internal teams and external clients, offering expert insight into application integration, Cloud and solutions architecture. Absolute gibberish to most people, but for you it’s like explaining that 1+1=2.

You’ll ideally have a Software Engineering / Azure Architecture background, but we’re not looking to throw up a ton of barriers to entry. Something worth noting is that you'll need some proven experience of either leading or being part of a complex application integration project, ideally within a corporate setting (i.e. complex landscape of applications, diverse tech stacks etc.).

They're looking for someone pretty special, but you’ll have the benefits to match it.

They’re offering some home-working, a (genuinely) excellent pension, private healthcare, as well as all the usual benefits that a large organisation can offer.

So, what do you think?

Are you ready to put your skills to work and build something amazing?

The salary is competitive, but we can't disclose it here. If you are interested please apply or get in touch (google Rebel Recruiters for the number!) and we can discuss this further with you.

Either way let's get talking!
