Finance Solutions is seeking a Data Visualisation and Application Developer to create high-quality and comprehensible visualisations for a wide array of stakeholders (management to executive level) within our Finance Solutions Data Analytics team. Data Analytics supports our clients by utilising modern technology and scripting languages to transform, analyse and report on business critical information needed for our clients to make decisions in the most efficient way possible. About the role
Here at Babcock International we are recruiting for an Application Specialist to join our IT team at Bristol Business Park or Telford. You will be supporting the application and technology stack across this particular sector through the application lifecycle. This will include maintenance, support and upgrade.

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Management of the transition of applications into the production environment, ensuring all changes are tested, documented and version controlled
* Provide 2nd line support for the applications, including incident investigation
* Support the management and delivery of applications and configuration of the relevant installations
* Provide a release management role, which will involve occasional remote out of hours support
* Be a primary point of contact for third party suppliers

What do I need to do the role?
You must be an experienced Application Specialist with a background in MS SQL Server, integration tools (i.e. Netweaver, Biztalk, SSIS) and experience with the .NET framework.


Experience in the defence or a related industry is desirable.

What else do I need to know?
* Must be prepared to work occasional evenings and / or weekends during release cycles
* You will work a 37 hour week Monday-Friday with flexible start and finish times

Application Specialist
Bristol or Telford

About the role
Here at Babcock International we are recruiting for an Application Specialist to join our IT team at Bristol Business Park or Telford. You will be supporting the application and technology stack across this particular sector through the application lifecycle. This will include maintenance, support and upgrade.

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Management of the transition of applications into the production environment, ensuring all changes are tested, documented and version controlled
* Provide 2nd line support for the applications, including incident investigation
* Support the management and delivery of applications and configuration of the relevant installations
* Provide a release management role, which will involve occasional remote out of hours support
* Be a primary point of contact for third party suppliers

What do I need to do the role?
You must be an experienced Application Specialist with a background in MS SQL Server, integration tools (i.e. Netweaver, Biztalk, SSIS) and experience with the .NET framework.


Experience in the defence or a related industry is desirable.

What else do I need to know?
* Must be prepared to work occasional evenings and / or weekends during release cycles
* You will work a 37 hour week Monday-Friday with flexible start and finish times
* All applicants must have or be able to obtain SC security clearance
