Front End Web Developer– FinTech

Up to £70,000 + bonus + benefits

Tech: ES6, Vue.js and VUEX, Webpack, SasS, JQuery, Jasmine, JEST and Protractor for testing, AngularJS and Grunt knowledge is useful for older parts of the codebase

We’re working with a profitable FinTech , based close to Bank Station, to help them double the size of their development team as demand for their platform grows.

They currently have two senior Python Engineers and one Junior Engineer who work on platform development, two Senior Python Engineers who work on the more quantitative / AI / Machine Learning aspects of the platform and two UI / UX Developers who create a constantly evolving, feature-rich and data intensive GUI.

The platform itself is allowing some of the Worlds’ largest financial institutions to conform with the ever-tightening regulatory landscape by crunching enormous amounts of data and doing some very clever modelling.

Looking to speak to Application Support professionals who have worked with UNIX, SQL and scripting knowledge for this hands on role with a finance client in London. You will bring excellent communication skills, team work ethic and a desire to expand out within the business.

This opportunity needs good exposure to automating reports, application deployment, planning, testing and troubleshooting for FIX. Good SQL skills and core knowledge in UNIX is key. The successful candidate will upskill their own technical strengths and have the communication skills to train those within the team.
