Having secured further funding, we are seeking to further grow our tech team with passionate and self-motivated individuals who have experience working within or leading commercially-driven teams.

As a successful applicant you will have the opportunity to work alongside world-leading experts to define and develop a new cutting-edge clinical product which will impact on patient care both within the NHS as well as globally. As the technical owner of this product, you will, (with the support of a project manager), need to define a robust architecture and tech stack, while understanding deeply the needs and requirements of the end users in the clinic. You will need to carefully identify product milestones and engineering resources required to achieve them. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • You'll work on scalable web applications and APIs
  • Have solid experience using Scala or Ruby and keen on learning more about either.
  • Work with (and know the limitations of using) a large SQL database
  • Work alongside Infrastructure/DevOps with provisioning tools (e.g Terraform, AWS, Docker)
  • TDD, BDD (RSpec, Cucumber) environment to ensure your code is well tested
  • Be an Agile Advocate (bonus points for knowing what the Spotify Model is!)
  • Understand CI / CD pipelines
  • Be proficient in Git/Github or any other source control software
  • Work with multiple teams to ensure all systems work well together
  • Collaborate with QA & Product Owners on product development
