SMART Application Developer - C# .NET - 6 Month FTC

Developing, building and deploying software is an art and we need artists. Modern, technological Da Vinci's who can combine their existing knowledge with new technologies to find novel solutions in a fast-paced atmosphere; someone as confident educating themselves on new processes as they are streamlining the current ones.

You won't be working alone though, you'll be alongside a bright team of developers, IT Test Analysts, business contacts and stakeholders to deliver your solutions and recommendations for the Smart programme. Predominantly a Back End technology focused role, this position resides in a fast paced fully agile team.

To be successful in the role we need a confident Microsoft full stack developer (C#.Net) who has experience of working in a team to collaborate and problem solve.

The position will suit a keen developer who can learn quickly and will utilise the training and development on offer in this role.

Desirable skills:

* TFS/Git (using Gitflow)
* SQL (SQL Server/T-SQL)
* NHibernate, Entity Framework 6, or other ORM
* Micro services
* SOA
* WebAPI (WebAPI 2)
* NServiceBus (or similar), Experience building software with message-based architectures; Rabbit MQ, Azure Service Bus, MSMQ

  • Understanding of Behaviour Driven Development practices and frameworks.
