What will you be doing?

Deliver in a timely and quality manned across a number of programmes of work.
Present ideas and designs to colleagues and adapt work based on reviews and direct feedback
Plan and execute activities to implement user requirements.
Ensure delivery of individual and wider team is to the required standard, including co-ordinating active code reviews.
Develop innovative solutions that will enhance the client experience and provide a cost effective solutions.
Develop other team members through mentoring and code review.
Ability to co-ordinate and communicate with colleagues.
Ability to communicate with stakeholders directly and manage the stakeholder’s expectation.


What we’re looking for:

Extensive experience with application client and server development in the web and/or mobile domain.
Substantial Language and UI Experience to include JavaScript, ReactJS, CSS3 and SASS.
Middleware DB and Backend experience to include GraphQL/Apollo, NodeJS and RDMS of MariaDB and/or Postgress with RM Sequlise.
Test experience to include JEST and Cypress/Webdriver.


Skills that will help you in the role:

Experience with TypeScript, Java, .NET, Groovy and Scala. 
Experience with/Knowledge of Angluar and VueJS.
Experience with REST and RDBMS (SQL Sever, Oracle SQL) and compatible ORMs e.g. hibernate/GROM.
Experience in Selenium Webdriver, JUnit, Spock and Mockito.

- Ensure systems change management is carried out in accordance with agreed standards and procedures.

Service Management

- Administer and maintain systems in accordance with the needs of the business.
- Provide technical and user support on software solutions.
- Provide a key point of liaison between the business and the IS Department, ensuring a rapid response to all problems, ideas, issues and queries raised.
- Develop implementation plans required to deal with complex requests for change, evaluating any risks to the integrity of infrastructure associated with the change.
- Support other members of the Development team and of the IS Department as a whole.

Skills and qualifications
Essential

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience developing with C#
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience developing with JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
- An understanding of REST
- Ability to write stored procedures, write complex SQL queries, and ability to analyse SQL data.
- Good understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.

Preferred

- Experience with SiteCore.
- Experience of using React or AngularJS.
- Experience with Node.js
- Experience as a SharePoint Developer.
- Experience with Microsoft SSRS and SSIS.
- Knowledge of Powershell scripting.
