We are seeking an individual who can help us: -

  • To take ownership of the Information System strategy and deliver the infrastructure and processes required to realise that strategy.
  • To implement and support the internal network infrastructure to support current and future needs.
  • To ensure our client remains secure and protected from information and cyber security threats.
  • To deliver the systems required to support the development of a world-class manufacturing business, from supporting the implementation of new ERP and CRM applications, the creation of new technical data analysis capabilities, creation of intranet and information management processes, as well as implementing the communication and collaboration tools to support our growing business.

Work with the Executive team to provide the capability and assurance that we have information technology and security systems that are aligned with our business goals.

With the following skills and experience: -

  • Senior Technical IT position held for at least 3 years in a commercial environment
  • Track record of supporting IT infrastructure and systems, including on-premise and cloud-based systems, mobile device management, cyber security, user authentication and access controls.
  • Multi-project management skills with a strong track record of achieving project delivery
  • Able to thrive in a high-growth environment with a can-do attitude.
  • Strong understanding of corporate processes and procedures

Exceptional team player, strong interpersonal skills with a capability to work autonomously

Advantageous Skills and Experience: -

  • Experience of Microsoft Business Systems environment including O365, Dynamics, Teams.
  • Knowledge of SQL database systems to support advanced data analysis.
  • Experience of setting up highly secure systems and protocols to combat cyber threats.

This newly created role would suit a someone of graduate calibre with previous commercial experience or a graduate within data sciences.

The Data Services Engineer will be joining a brand new team who are implementing a new Data Warehouse system to combine multiple data sources to combine and then extract useful business decision making information. For this role, you must understand data structures, be highly analytical and have experience of Business Intelligence Systems. The role will then extend to becoming a BI tool expert

You will be working very closely with the new Data Services Manager to develop this new data warehousing system, test and redevelop web based bespoke databases and to develop the implement all necessary technical data processes.

Desirable skills:

  • Previous experience with Business Intelligence Systems
  • Data warehousing and SQL
  • A keen understanding of data structures
  • Highly analytical

An understanding of some of the following would be beneficial:

  • ETL tools
  • Cloud hosting technology

Minday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm

Principal Responsibilities/Duties
*Centralised technical support for field engineers - providing technical support for incidents and problems, prestaging, configuration of cloud elements etc)
* Owning the resolution of all tickets passing through the support desk - though not necessarily personally resolving them)
* Owning local support processes - DB management, spares holdings, lab builds, escalations etc)
* Out of hours support as part of the on call rota
* Travel to customer's sites and provide support and/or installation services for a wide-ranging set of IT infrastructures
* Provide point of escalation for helpdesk when required
* Assist senior engineers on larger installations and projects

Essential Skills
* Independently motivated
* Keen to learn and able to demonstrate this
* A solid team player
* Great communication
* Self-reliance
* Punctual and responsible with excellent time management
* A native English communicator
* Customer facing
* Cisco Meraki CMNA (demonstrable)
