As a Principal Software Developer you'll be working on a range of complex and intellectually stimulating systems. They are looking for an IT professional to make the companies IT integration project a smooth and positive end user experience.

Your new role
They are looking for an IT contractor, who enjoys working in a Project environment and life cycle with in-depth knowledge of the Office 365, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams. This is very much a hands-on role; this role will be technically demanding working within the Project IT team and alongside technical experts to deliver integration & migration solution.

What you'll need to succeed
They are looking for a SharePoint Administrator with in-depth knowledge of configuring, supporting and implementing of SharePoint, as well as experience and knowledge of Office 365. You will be expected to have previously added Active directory to Azure in previous roles and have an in-depth knowledge and at least 5 years' experience in support and infrastructure roles.

We are working with a company for a Global media brand, which is a real heavyweight in the industry. The platform is a large hand-coded enterprise scales system built on JavaScript, Node.JS with Data Science at the heart of it all. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp on Full-Stack engineering skills with a focus on Back End Node.JS development and Algorithms.

As an organisation they share ownership of the design through to the delivery of the products. They prototype and experiment with new technologies and they use peer review to ensure the solution is maintainable. They are a group of passionate engineers whose bread and butter is learning new technologies and fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. They will support you and provide training when you want to change team or work on a different project. The wide variety of projects they have will allow you to advance your career within the company.

The Backend Software Developer will need:

  • Algorithms
  • System level programming
  • Middleware, including but not limited to: queueing systems, memory management, inter-process communications, multi-threading
  • Our development environment is Node JS/Typescript, these are big pluses, but back-end skill sets and mind set are key, and thus we will consider talented back-end engineers with C/C++, Java, etc
