A great opportunity exists for an ambitious analytically driven digital specialist to take a pivotal role in a global brand based in Bristol. 

The Company:

Our Client is a premium fashion brand based in Bristol. They have further offices in the US and Australia and distributors in China, the Middle East and South East Asia. Approximately 50% of the global sales are from the US, with Australia, Asia and Europe accounting for the other 50%. About 40% of sales globally are online with online sales growing 100%+ year-on-year.

The role:
 

Our client is looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to become an integral member of the fast-growing fashion business. They Believe that strong analytical skills are crucial in this role and would choose a strong analytical science background over deep experience in digital marketing. They are happy for someone to have to learn some of the more advanced elements of Facebook advertising and SEO on the job as long as they have a logical mind and proactive structured approach towards problem solving.

The role will form a key part of the existing marketing team and will report to the Head of Marketing. The key responsibilities include:

  • Optimise online sales (where we anticipate strong growth)
  • Create, set up and execute ad campaigns (AdWords, Facebook and Instagram and Google Shopping)
  • Manage advertising budgets and analyse / optimise spend across different digital channels
  • Analyse web traffic metrics and create relevant dashboard
  • Set SEO strategy and manage on-going implementation
  • Provide monthly report on all digital marketing activities and thorough evaluation and recommendations
  • Manage external web developer/Shopify consultant

Skills

The role requires some competence in the following:

  • A passion to figure out the logic behind digital marketing and an enthusiasm to use data to help enhance the performance of digital marketing campaigns
  • A willingness to find out what you don't yet know
  • At least 3 years’ previous work experience and preferably a Science degree
  • Analytically strong with at least an A-level in either Mathematics or Physics (A or A*)
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • An aptitude to interpret data to understand how it can be optimised and how it fits into the wider marketing mix
  • Some HTML, JavaScript and/or Python would be nice to have but not required
  • Ideally, some experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Advertising etc.

• Experience of .NET using C# and Web Forms
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server and Classic ASP
• Experience with JavaScript
• Excellent organisational skills and communicator
• Demonstrate the ability to work on more than one project at any given time
• Be efficient, organised and able to work accurately to tight deadlines

• IIS Management knowledge
• SagePay integration knowledge
