Occasional after hours/weekend work will be required and the Network Engineer will participate in an on-call rotation schedule.

Required Education and Experience:

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience supporting a high performance, high availability network architecture, with strong knowledge of key networking protocols used in the design and operation of such networks being essential - including OSPF, BGP and VXLAN, and the use of the CLI to manage devices.

In addition, demonstrable experience supporting firewalls including policy/VPN is required.

Exposure to Linux operating systems and programming languages such as Python, and experience of using network automation platforms is highly desirable.

Exposure to QoS in a WAN environment, knowledge of SD-WAN technologies and experience supporting VoIP and video conferencing on a global network is also desirable.

Ideally you will have acquired experience in supporting multiple vendor hardware from Palo

It is expected that the successful candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, the ability and desire to learn new things and apply new knowledge to the current environment and a willingness to work both autonomously and using their own initiative.

You must be fluent in English and be fully conversant with technical language relating to network design and hardware, as well as have the ability to convert business requirements into workable solutions.

Fluency in any other language would be highly desirable. You must be available to travel internationally for up to 25% of the role.
