Java and PHP Developer - 12 months+ Hilversum, Netherlands

My client based in Hilversum is looking for a Java and PHP Developer for an initial 12 month contract. The company are open to extensions.

The Role: You will be part of a team dedicated to writing clean quality code as well as working on cloud migration from azure to Google Cloud Platform. There will also be opportunities to work on the architecture.

Key skills:

• At least 6 years of professional Java experience
• Must also be experienced with PHP (Symphony is a bonus)
• Fullstack profiles are a bonus, MUST have Angular experience
• Google Cloud platform experience
• Any experience with Azure is welcome
• Containers such as docker and Kubernetes
• English fluency is essential for the role

• Seven or more years’ experience with the development of back-end services and client applications using the Microsoft .NET framework

• In-depth knowledge of designing architectures and establishing environments for developing, building, testing and releasing server-side components to hosted cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure

• Experience of developing and launching cloud-based Software as a Service (SAAS) products

• Extensive experience of Agile development approaches (e.g. Scrum) for iterative, adaptive product development, continuous integration and regular releases

• Any experience of the development of IP telephony systems would be an advantage, for example integrations with Asterisk, Broadsoft or another IP PBX
