A global investment bank are looking for a senior business support developer who will be responsible for the day to day support of the bank's Enterprise Data Management System.

As the Data Migration Operative you will use the tools provided to migrate application data, work with colleagues in the Development and Technical Teams to develop tools to aid data migration and ensure data is migrated accurately by testing all work thoroughly.

You will be responsible for producing clear and accurate documentation of the migration process, seek improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of data migrations and share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.

  • Working knowledge of FX products, pricing and real time risk management.
  • Working knowledge of the design of scalable, high availability, supportable distributed architectures.
  • Working knowledge of messaging and communication protocols including TCP, UDP, multicast, and data encoding
  • Working understanding of SQL and simple DDL operations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to interact with business representatives.
Desirable but not essential:
