Avanti are currently partnering with a Microsoft house in Wakefield who are looking for a Full-Stack Developer to join their current team of 7 experienced developers. They create bespoke software solutions for multiple industries such as the health, finance and education sector.

They are looking for a developer with experience working with both .NET and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.js. You will be working on a number of large projects, working on the company’s main product that currently holds over 7,000 end-users. However the main purpose of the role is to help develop the company’s brand new product where you will be involved with the full development lifecycle.

Their tech stack is as follows: ASP.NET CORE, ASP.NET MVC, Azure, T-SQL, JavaScript and Vue.js. (You don’t need experience with Vue.js but experience with other JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React would be a bonus). The development team follow best practices to write clean and effective code such as Scrum, TDD, BDD, SOLID, pair-programming and continuous integration.

This role offers a lot of technical freedom and personal development opportunities through a personal development and training plan that is set out for you at the beginning of the year. In this development plan you are given the opportunity to outline your own strategies and targets.
