My client are developing solutions which global enterprises use as a management tool for IT insight. They are looking to expand their onsite software engineering team in Cheshire with significant hires to help roll out this software across the business.
 
The Software Engineer will be working on the development of my client’s flagship product portfolio. The Software Engineer will develop new features, pertaining to the full product lifecycle, which will involve gathering requirements, architecture and design, UX and Wireframes, coding, testing, documentation and maintenance. The Software Engineer must be comfortable participating in the testing of their own code.
 
The Software Engineer will be working in the Microsoft Stack and operating in DAD principles. Not only will you be developing software, but you will be contributing your knowledge and expertise to the internal teams, customers, support suite and more. As a Software Engineer, you should be committed to promoting the constant improvement of the quality of software products, security and performance.

- Understanding of Domain Driven Design and exposure to working with microservice architectures.
- Experience of test driven development, writing unit tests and solid understanding of how to write testable code
- Experience of working as a member of an agile team and familiar with agile planning and estimation techniques. A good understanding of the fundamental rationale for employing an agile approach
- Experience with using engineering practices that compliment an agile approach. Test driven development, source branching strategies (GIT Flow), continuous integration etc.
