Our client is a global Financial Services/ Insurance business and is looking for a Technical Consultant to join the team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Managing full lifecycle of client projects and being the primary client contact for technical subjects
• Providing project management on larger, multi-dimensional projects
• On-site and remote installation, configuration and support of enterprise software
• Recommending appropriate bespoke solutions where required
• Pre-sales support to consultants and the sales teams including managing RFP/RFI responses
• Training clients on installation and on-going support of advanced software products
• Running technical workshops and architecting bespoke solutions
• Being a knowledgably expert on our products and associated technologies
• Upskilling and mentoring other Technical Consultants.

Skills:

• Experience in a technical, client-facing role
• understand, explain and develop complex IT architectures
• An understanding of many of the technologies: IIS; MS SQL; Active Directory; Window Server; SOAP/ REST Web Services; COM; .Net; WCF
• Ability to produce, and review technical documentation
• Experience in managing client relationships within an EU setting
• International experience
