Desktop Support Engineer, Top Hedge Fund, New York City (Midtown)
My client, a top hedge fund, is hiring for a Desktop Support Engineer in their Midtown, New York City office. The role provides in-depth technical support on hardware, software, and connectivity for end-users across the office, working in a self-directed manner with a high level of white-glove, VIP-level customer service in a fast-paced, highly sensitive environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an up-and-coming Desktop Engineer to work in a fast-paced environment at a top hedge fund, alongside world-class teammates. The firm likes to hire talented people and then let them work in a semi-autonomous, entrepreneurial, fashion, so that they can take charge of solving issues, while growing and learning new skills.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of relevant IT support experience including a mixture of skills in Windows, PC hardware, mobile device management, WiFi, VPN, ideally some Apple device support, Office, Outlook, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, TCP/IP, VDI, Citrix, and videoconferencing.
