About You

  • You should have a strong customer focus and be confident dealing with a wide range of end users as well as liaising with technical suppliers. You are experienced in following agreed procedures to provide advice to users to help them make more effective use of desktop systems, products and services.

Your new role

TPR need a solutions architect to help out with a number of projects, these include;

  • Explore business problems and develop end to end IT solutions to achieve TPR (ToM) business objectives
  • Work with stakeholders to define the overall IT Solutions Architecture, which includes using a more data driven approach aligned to the TPR corporate strategy and Business, Data and Enterprise Architectures.
  • Contribute towards the development and implementation of TPR's IT and Data strategy using "Cloud First".
  • Continuously improve architecture methodologies, processes and standards including 'best practice', standards and policies pertaining to TPR's solutions and their architecture and development
  • Interface with Change & IT SMEs plus 3rd Party Suppliers


What you'll need to succeed

Two of the main projects include the migration of on-prem infrastructure to Azure and the implementation of Dynamics 365. Experience of these two solutions and Microsoft technologies as a whole would be very useful. Full details are;

  • Specialist knowledge of IT Solutions Architecture models, technology and data management together with SDLC development methodologies and IT processes (Agile, Waterfall, ITIL).
  • Broad knowledge of modern architecture patterns e.g., microservices, data platform, their suitability, complexities and alternatives as well as Web, Cloud and Database principles and architectures and specifically Microsoft technologies, including Azure, SharePoint, Dynamics 365 CRM, .Net, Sitecore, Logic Apps, Power Apps, Power Automation (Flow), SQL Server and Enterprise Architecture plus BI/MI experience, ESB/ETL, Data and Cyber Security and SaaS, PaaS plus IaaS.
  • Previous experience of developing, documenting and communicating pragmatic, business centric solutions to solve critical business challenges.
  • Previous experience of defining architectural direction and architecture and harnessing innovation for business benefit.
  • Capability to expand single site IT service designs into a multi-site solution (infrastructure / networks / application)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Stack relating to IT Technical Architecture models, Web and Cloud technology, DevOps, Software Development (SDLC), and data management methodologies plus IT processes (Agile, Waterfall, ITIL).
  • Knowledge in relation to all new and/or major Microsoft Cloud technologies in support of projects authorised through IT governance.
