A respected organisation are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Business Intelligence Developer to assist in the design and integration of the applications in use and databases. They’re looking for somebody with solid analytical, data and systems experience to really take the lead in this role and drive the data management team forward.
Your daily responsibilities will include configuring and integrating software applications with the databases by utilising Oracle, SSIS, SSRS, MS SQL, and other reporting and integration tools to provide a reliable data framework, alongside developing ETL processes & assisting with general reporting requirements. You will also be required to oversee testing to ensure integration is robustly tested.
Essential experience:
• Demonstrable Business Intelligence/ Data/ Reporting Development experience within a commercial environment
• Commercial experience of building data structures in data warehouses (script SQL, triggers, views, stored procedures etc)
• Experience with MS SQL, Oracle, SSIS & SSRS
• Ability to create complex integration & configuration builds from software source codes.
• Ability to champion data capabilities throughout the organisation
• Commercial experience of documenting detailed & complex specifications and documentation
• Commercial experience of building test plans and overseeing testing environments
• Experience of WebAPI’s would be highly advantageous
