Your day to day responsibilities will include:

- Changes requested on existing client setups & products
- Contribute in streamlining the product set up and maintenance process (tools and techniques) including the automation of changes and liaise with the relevant development teams
- Document new processes, new tools and new functionality. Train other team members on these where required.
- Change Management (writing change procedure for deploying to the production environment). Scripting (shell/SQL) to deploy changes onto Unix/oracle environment.
- Provide work effort estimates for new Projects and Change Requests
- Review and refine changes to ensure accuracy and minimise all possible risk
- Provide out of hours support on a rota basis for team changes

You will have the following skills:

- Excellent knowledge of SQL – ability to develop complex SQL queries
- Windows scripting knowledge or programming languages (Java, HTML, XML).
- Experience of Windows server and client operating systems.
- First class communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Server and software diagnostic skills.
- Logical methodology to problem solving.
