I'm working with a growing tech company in Portsmouth, a company that works with household names and keeps them ahead of the competition. They're undeniably leaders within their niche and are about to undergo a period of expansion in their technical team.
You will be truly joining a company that live and breathe tech and believe in continual teaching to their staff (both internal and external means). The roles are open to strong juniors right up to lead level as they move from family-feel business to one of the most recognisable names in the area. The office has parking on site and is easily reachable by public transport from most parts of Hampshire and even London.
Your new role
As mentioned you'll be working to support industry titans and the JavaScript / React teams work on new developments and don't get bogged down. Longer term the roadmap is to alleviate the dependency on external clients and to build their own products in house to have the best of both worlds.
Everyone has a voice, and everyone is expected to use it and enter technical discussions to help drive their solutions forward. It's fast-paced and development cycles are continually evolving. You'll be able to interact with clients so effective communication is key, as is a sharing mentality to help each other's growth.
What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for Mobile Developers (React Native) or a distinct interest in working in this space and existing React.js skills. The team subscribe to modern coding practices including TDD, BDD and follow the Agile manifesto.
We would like to see a knowledge of both iOS and Android platforms (Xcode / Android Studio) and a comfortability moving across other OO programming languages.

In order to attract the best talent and skill levels the salary is dependent on the applicants experience. Holiday is 33 days (including Bank Holidays), which rises with length of service.
