The right candidate must have extensive experience. Their role will be to maintain embedded software on their products primarily focusing on software implemented in C.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Maintain C source code for power conversion subsystems (Voltage Mode Inverter and Active Front End)
  • Assist in maintenance and debug of MCU low level modifications and issues
  • Contribute to issue resolution applied to low level software deployed on our client's products

Skills / Experience;

  • Demonstrable experience working in a small/medium sized company delivering and maintaining production software in a structured environment
  • Expert level in embedded C with demonstrable experience developing and maintaining production software (min 5 years)
  • Full software life cycle experience (requirements through to validation)
  • Demonstrable experienced in using software life cycle tools and processes
  • Experienced user of CAN bus logging and analysis tools (CANalyzer/BUSMASTER)
  • Some exposure to the use of MathWorks Toolchain for software generation
