Job Title: SalesForce Junior Engineer (Analyst)

Location: London

Corporate Title: Analyst

The Client Connect Programme has been initiated to implement Salesforce for front office Sales, Coverage and Business Management users to enable them to efficiently and effectively know which clients they cover, initiate new client onboards, initiate regular client reviews and offboard clients as necessary with fully audit history.

You’ll be focusing on a project relating to the delivery of a Salesforce Communities portal to improve customer experience and cost/ value decisions across multiple business units. The Client Outreach portal provides a mechanism for our clients to accept new contractual documentation in line with changes to regulation and provide information and evidence in relation to Know Your Client requests.

Your key responsibilities

• Participate in a minimum of two stages in the product life cycle including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and implementation
• Participate in peer discussions on requirements and corresponding solution and understand the overall direction of the Salesforce project
• Work on development stories that are supported by the architecture of the system
• User Interface development
• Contributes to development of source code, including descriptions, in line with detailed requirements, Supplements with the appropriate unit tests

Your skills and experience

• Some experience in Salesforce.com applications development, configuration and implementation
• (Ideal but not essential) – User Interface Development expertise
• Familiar with/aware of DevOps tools such as, Eclipse, Git, GitHub, BitBucket, Sonar, Jira, Jama, Confluence, Crucible, Jenkins and TeamCity
• Ability to communicate ideas simply and effectively
• Team player working well with other software developers, business analysts and testers

Java Developer | Tewkesbury | £35,000 - £45,000

My client are distributive start up whose product is focused on designing and delivering innovative solutions for our customers, solutions which currently exploit cloud based deployments. They have had incredible growth over the last couple of years.

I am looking for a good knowledge of the Java programming language, plus associated tooling such as Maven, Git and a modern IDE such IntelliJ IDEA. My client are moving towards a fully blown CI/CD automated pipeline, so experience with the design and implementation of unit tests using libraries such as JUnit is essential.

The main responsibility of the role is to carry out Java full stack development activities to develop functionality of software updates

What my client is looking for – .

• Good experience in core Java, with experience at language level 8/11
• Interest/ Experience in Unit and Systems testing using JUnit
• Experience in Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) to include JAX-RS2 and Servlets
• Experience with both SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DB2 etc) and NoSQL databases (ideally ArangoDB)
• Experience designing and developing container based Microservice based architectures using Docker including Swarm Mode or Kubernetes
