As a key member of this dedicated team, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing the TDB application. This includes perform technical assessment of requirements received, effort estimation, solution design, build/test the approved design and implementation into production environment in accordance with SDLC best practices. The role also demands to provide analysis and solution when production issues/job failures are escalated to build the bank.


What will you be doing?


• Actively engaged external business and IT partners in the requirements analysis for system enhancements and changes.
• Writing functional specifications if required.
• Interpret and understand functional specifications
• Writing technical design documents adhering to predefined standards
• Hands on development of quality (i.e. readable, performing and supportable) PL/SQL code on an Oracle database, delivering the functionality detailed in the technical specifications
• Hands on development of Autosys, Unix, and Perl scripts, delivering the functionality detailed in the technical specifications
• Ensuring code written meets the predefined company and department standards
• Tuning existing code to ensure acceptable application performance
• Review users queries to understand data access patterns and suggest enhancements to data model and/or indexing strategy


What we’re looking for:


• A bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related.
• Good experience years of hands-on Oracle database development experience.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced and agile environment.
• Extensive experience Oracle 11G and 12G, PL/SQL Development, Database design, SQL performance tuning
• Experience with Unix (preferably Linux)
• Good understanding of Data Warehouse and Data Mart concepts with proven experience in both
• Ability to design and implement logical and physical data models
• Hands on experience with GIT or similar version source code control tools.
