Job Title: Analyst Programmer

Location: Horsham, West Sussex

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Are you an experienced developer looking for your next challenge within the financial industry?

My client is a financial technology company providing software solutions and consultancy services to finance and leasing industries worldwide. They are looking for an experienced developer to join their team to help build powerful, high quality systems that can be used by their clients.

Main Activities:

  • Working on new projects, core components or supporting existing clients, focusing on excellent programming and encompassing the full software development lifecycle.
  • Produce detailed technical specifications/documented analysis.
  • Development work varying from building new modules, enhancing existing systems and bug fixing.
  • Complete programmer QA and secondary QA for team members.
  • Prepare and deploy system builds for internal testing and to client environments.
  • Produce estimates for costing and planning purposes.
  • Assistance with client queries, either remotely, face to face on client site, or at the office.

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Atleast 3 year’s experience in a development role utilising technologies VB6 and/or .Net, Oracle Database or MS SQL Server.
  • Technologies needed: VB6 or C#, Oracle and PL/SQL or SQL Server and T-SQL.
  • Capable of producing high quality work and can grasp complex algorithms and calculations.
  • Good at problem solving independently or as part of a team.

Desirable:

  • Financial industry experience.
  • Previous experience working in a client facing position.
  • .Net Framework, .Net Winforms, MVC, Web API with Entity framework.
