I'm working with a Software company to find a strong DevOps Engineer to lead their transition into DevOps automation and cloud platforms utilising IaC. The role is based in Cheltenham, and will be working on an exciting greenfield project to be rolled out globally.

The DevOps engineer will be responsible for:
  • Driving efficiency and improve customer experience
  • IaC delivery to ensure consistency across Platforms.
  • Ensure no downtime and sustainability of system performance.

In order to be considered you'll need experience with:

A major financial institution in the city is looking for an experienced C# . Net Developer to join a flagship team that handles a major risk platform. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, dedicated and focused team of open-minded, experienced developers, all based in the London office. They also directly shape the future of the product they handle and are trusted to make all the technical decisions with a large amount of responsibility and autonomy.

The successful candidate will be a strong full stack C# developer with strong server side experience and some exposure to grid computing (Data Synape/ HPC) as well as experience with Azure if possible.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Software development, on a compute Grid Risk-PnL and XVA Calculation system based both on Cloud and on internal Data Centres.

  • Make changes to the Risk-PnL software stack using TDD, developing adequate understanding to ensure system stability and performance is maintained while delivering change to customers

  • Interact with Product Owner, Quantitative Analysts, and Front Office Customers to understand, design, estimate and delivery solutions.

    Required Skills

  • Senior C# server-side developer

  • Kanban, Test Driven Development, Jenkins;

  • Azure (Batch, SQL, CosmosDB); or Tibco Data Synapse;

  • Secondary skills in Scala-Akka-Kafka will be at an advantage
