Our client is a well-known building society with headquarters in Swindon; As one of the largest savings and mortgage providers in the UK, 15 million members are at the heart of everything they do.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Full Stack React Developer for a 6 month contract based in London, Paddington.

Purpose of the Role:

• The React Developer will be working at the forefront of technology, building an Agile and responsive end-to-end system able to cope with the demands of today's whilst flexible enough to meet the needs of tomorrow.

As a React Native Developer you will be responsible for:

• Day-to-day you'll be exploiting your experience of delivering first-class solutions in an Agile environment
• You'll be involved in mentoring and to help to build our development process and strategies
• You'll drive continuous improvements and promote best practice in your team through your actions and behaviours
• Work closely with the Technology Lead, helping to deliver solutions that meet their requirements

What we require from the candidate:

• Strong mobile development experience using React Native (and Redux ideally)
• Good knowledge of iOS and Android Operating Systems
• TypeScript (Front and Back End ideal)
• Experience of writing unit, integration and functional tests
• Agile Scrum team experience
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience of any of the following is beneficial - Node.js, microservices, Docker, Kafka, Terraform, AWS

IR35 Status: This role has been assessed as inside of IR35.
