.NET Developer (C#)

My client, a well established product focussed business that provide software systems to industry are seeking a highly motivated Junior .NET Developer, to learn and exercise practices, maintaining coding and design standards.

As the Junior .NET Developer you will learn values and important of design and testing, maintaining best practices complying with coding and design standards. Following code structures, you will be maintaining and resolving issues alongside other developers.

Requirements of the Junior .NET Developer include:

  • Development and support of websites using C# and .NET
  • Knowledge of MVC, and ASP.NET would be beneficial
  • Exposure to SQL, Azure, HTTP would be advantageous
  • Candidates should have the ability to read and understand technical documentation
  • You will be able to confidently communicate with both technical and non-technical staff

This position would suit somebody who may have been in a junior development role for around a year, looking to gain more exposure and progress. 

Salary: £25,000 to £35,000 per annum

Your role:

This role is for a dynamic and driven embedded payment terminal developer to bring their knowledge and experience to help us enhance and expand our products.

You will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with your team to prepare designs, estimates and functional specifications
  • Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, robust and reliable code
  • Maintain accurate and quality documentation
  • Deliver high quality functional software within agreed timescales
  • Help maintain code quality, structure, and automation where possible
  • Investigating, troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Take ownership of your own tasks, delivering within the agreed timeline, escalating where necessary

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • Work collaboratively with your team members and peers to ensure that we are working together.
  • Continually work towards the company and departmental objectives, contributing to overall company initiatives and product roadmap
  • Awareness and understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Able to work closely and collaboratively with the QA Team and Product Owners

You must have:

  • Strong analytical skills and a logical approach to problem-solving
  • Strong C/C++ capabilities
  • Use of source control technologies, such as GIT
  • An Interest in programming best practices
  • Strong knowledge of embedded software development
