The client is looking for someone to join their team of software engineers in developing bespoke front and back end solutions for their customers. Due to growth, they are looking to expand their development team to work with core technologies such as Java, Spring and Angular.

Your new role
As a software developer in this company you will be working primarily on back end development but will also get the chance to be involved at various stages as all projects are Greenfield. You will gain exposure to full software stack as you use modern development tools and concepts to delivery high quality software solutions

What you'll need to succeed
* Minimum 2:1 Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
* Minimum 2 years experience in Java Development
* Excellent client facing skills
* Prior experience of working in Capital Markets/Investment Banking is a plus but not essential
* Prior experience in Java 8 / Spring / Spring Boot

-Must be willing to travel.

  • Support and maintain the collection of data from core databases using SQL
  • Compiling monthly senior management reports using Excel, SQL
  • Visualising data using BI applications such as Qlik, PowerBI etc
  • Compile and assist with analysis of data from multiple internal and external data sources
  • Ability to manipulate data


What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience of working within a data position
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL / VBA
