Front End Developer

Exciting opportunity to play an active role in the development of a suite of bespoke software solutions for a number of recognised and leading brands.

TEC Partners are on the lookout for a confident and skilled Front-end developers to be considered for a brand new role. We are looking for someone who can produce well put together code, that provides high-quality user experience across mobile, tablet and desktop applications.

You will be expected to develop and enhance the existing code base, improving the front-end functionality from a performance, maintainability and usability point of view.

We are looking for someone with commercial experience in a similar role, where you have been building out applications using at least the likes HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You will be able to take a business concept and implement it in to a responsive working product with valid HTML and comprehensive cross-browser support. An ability to use JavaScript confidently is also needed in this role.

You'll be confident with Sass or Less, and have a knowledge of Gulp or similar tools too. The development team build applications for a number of leading brands, and take great pride in doing so, as such we are looking for front-end developers who have an attention detail and take pride in their work. The team use emerging JS libraries such as React and Vue, although experience of these are not essential, any understanding would be very beneficial and this is certainly an opportunity to add those to your core skills. Front End Developer / UX and UI Design

Location: Near Bank Tube Station, London  

Seeking a Front End Developer to join a real estate asset management company based near Bank, London. 

The ideal candidate would be someone that has graduated recently with a computer science degree (or similar) and has around 1-3 years commercial experience in front end development. Ideally the person has been building and creating products to roll out both internally and to customers, not just having worked on website interfaces. 

The role

  • Work with the software engineering & data science team to build and create market leading products for the internal portfolio managers and external investment managers.
  • The pipeline for the product builds will be created through data capture and analytics from the data team, through Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning tooling. 
  • You would be part of the team to create data dashboards, virtual visualisations and information presentation for internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Working alongside a specialist team of UX / UI designers, Front End Developers, Back End Software Engineers and Data Scientists, you will gain the opportunity to learn from industry leading experts, using state of the art modern technology. 

Technical experience required (around 1-3 years experience) 

  • Core skills in JavaScript
  • Experience with Vue.js
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular 
  • Experience working on building products (not just websites) 
  • Understanding the entire development process (design / development / deployment)

About the role:

The test analyst is responsible for the final step in the development of a website or any software change before being released to the public. Identifying flaws and weaknesses in the development will ensure a quicker, more robust turnaround of our digital offering. You will be testing software solutions to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements whilst adhering to customer delivery milestones.

The test analyst is responsible for supporting the planning, design and execution of system testing on simple to complex implementations. Working collaboratively with the business units and Agile development team to execute and validate test cases based upon system requirements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Developing test frameworks from scratch
- Writing test cases and scripts
- Manual testing of the development within the CMS system, external development, communications produced in the system and regression.

About you:

To be successful for this position you must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience within a similar role. You must have experience of web testing.

You will need to have excellent verbal and written skills, be organised, manage time well, have strong attention to details and have experience of using Sitecore, XMLS, Java, JavaScript, PHP & SQL.
