We ensure security, resourcing and data management is the most effective and technologically advanced for our list of prominent clients within the Healthcare, Life Sciences, Chemical, Finance & Retail sectors who due to expansion are looking to expand our development team with the addition of an experienced Front End Developer.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

We are looking for a competent and passionate Software Developer with .NET experience. You will be joining our development team working in an agile environment. You will be refactoring and retaining our products current technical stack, whilst also building the next generation of our flagship product. We require a passionate, driven individual who has a creative workflow and will bring new propositions to the table.

This is a rare opportunity for someone to be tackling these projects without the bureaucracy of larger organisations.

  • Linking in with managers and product owners to ensure that we’re achieving our organisational goals
  • Owning projects and solutions in Ruby on Rails
  • Writing well-tested, secure, robust application code
  • Identifying problems, bottlenecks, snags and ways to work smarter
  • Helping up skill the team as it growsYou should:
  • Be passionate about technology, the web, and solving problems
  • Have experience developing web applications with Ruby on Rails or alternative MVC based framework development platforms Laravel, PHP, Python (Django), C#.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Spring boot, Spring MVC, Express.js etc
  • Understand and have experience with agile software development practices
  • Have a desire to build exceptional products
  • The key thing is to be able to demonstrate an aptitude for system design and engineering, and crucially, have a desire (at least not any kind of aversion) to work with Ruby and potentially Vue.js/React/whichever frontend tech the company moves to as advancements prevail.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience working in the London/Lloyd's Insurance Market on a Broking System for a Consultancy. You will be working solely with one of their Clients, who are a large London Market Insurance Broker, as a VB.Net Developer.

This role also gives flexible hours working both from home and their Client site which is based in the City of London.

Working as a VB.Net Developer you will be involved in supporting the business and analysing, coding/troubleshooting their Broking product. You will also be involved in a number of projects to include migration and redeveloping the system.

A proven background working as a .NET or VB.Net Developer is essential for this role as well as someone who can work on their own initiative.

You will have excellent communication and customer service skills as this is a Client facing role.
