KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Back up websites

  • Collaborate with Front-end developers
  • Define and communicate technical requirements (functionality specs)
  • Willingness to share knowledge and support to other team members
  • Build high-quality reusable code that can be used in the future
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications
  • Learn about new technologies
  • Stay up to date with current best practices
  • Conduct speed tests and optimise performance
  • Collaborate with team of designers and junior developers

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • In-depth understanding of web development
  • 12 months of experience with programming languages like Java, PHP (Ruby and Python nice to have but not essential)
  • 2 years of experience with CMS frameworks such as WordPress and Magento
  • Experience with front-end languages such as HTML, JavaScript and CSS
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills

HOURS OF WORK: Monday - Friday 8.30am till 5.30pm

SALARY: Competitive, Dependent on Experience
