Are you a natural leader who prides themselves on smashing software delivery? Are you Delivery Manager who can turn around an underperforming team and get things done? If any of this applies to you then read on…..

As a Delivery Manager, you will be part of a global tech e-commerce business that are revolutionising the entertainment industry.

Would you like to know that what you do every day makes a difference to millions of holiday makers each year? If you want to improve software delivery as part of an agile transformation for a global brand, then this role is for you.

Using Technology to make peoples life's better

We have grown rapidly within the UK. Across multiple teams, working practices, standards, and systems are not completely aligned and we know there are considerable opportunities for efficiency in retiring certain platforms, rebuilding others and generally adopting a more unified approach.

The first step is to embed an Agile culture throughout our cross-functional teams, to give our management greater visibility on timelines and the ability to more accurately draw up roadmaps of upcoming projects. We are looking to establish a layer of Delivery Managers to work across these teams to build an Agile community practice, standardise delivery and ensure buy-in from every member of staff to the Agile process.

It will be the Delivery Manager's responsibility to focus on ensuring accurate, on-time delivery of any project or scrum team to which you are assigned. You will guide projects, provide thorough planning, facilitate communication and create documentation to ensure a measurable and reliable delivery.

Essentially, to get to this standard of delivery, you will change the approach and behavior of each project team, building in Agile processes and solving process-related issues as they arise. You'll remove blockers, troubleshoot, manage risk, and report back on any changes to agreed timelines

This is a role that embodies the principles of Servant Leader. By helping teams install best practices, and enabling them to solve their own challenges, you'll allow them to work in an efficient, Agile way. You will encourage and empower team members to self-organize and improve, leading them to produce better work with accurate estimates.

To succeed as Agile Delivery Manager, you will;

Our primary requirement for the Delivery Manager role is a solid background in Agile Delivery, either as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager or as a Delivery Manager. You will have successfully embedded the culture and processes of Agile into a cross-functional team leading to the effective delivery of multiple projects on time and within budget

You will have demonstrable experience helping teams to take up Agile processes. You'll have had a measurable impact on the adoption of Agile across a group - be it a Scrum team, project team, wider business or anyone else.

You'll be proficient at finding pain points within projects, widely experienced in removing blockers and trouble-shooting, particularly with regards to the Agile workflow.

You'll be a natural coach and leader with an air of confidence, driven to help others implement change and opinionated on the way to achieve it. You do not need formal training in coaching/mentoring, but the attitude will be a key factor in the hiring of this role, particularly around your "Servant-Leader" mentality, supporting others to take the right decisions and empowering teams to work through their own issues.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global brand that will look great on your CV at a time that will allow you to influence real business change.

If interested - APPLY NOW.

We present only three applicants for every vacancy so, where we do represent you, you have a very high chance of securing a role with pre-booked interview times to plan around, in-depth vacancy details and no delays.
