Office 365 Administrator, based in Pembrokeshire. Paying competitive market rate. 3-6 month contract

Hays are currently recruiting for an Office 365 administrator with previous experience rolling out Microsoft Office 365 to assist our client in a migration from legacy systems.

We are looking for an individual with experience in the following areas;

-O365 Administration (licensing, processing of starters / leavers)
-Requirements gathering to establish information management needs, to resolve pain points and to identify opportunities to digitally transform business process
-Sharepoint online configuration
-Delivering end user training and support for the O365 product suite (OneDrive, Sharepoint Online, Teams, Planner etc)

My progressive client in London is looking for aSenior DevOps Engineer/ DevOps/SRE/Software engineer/AWS/Kubernetes/Linux specialist to join their forward thinking organisation. They are looking to scale a DevOps model; where you will be one of 2 initial engineers on site, with the idea of building the team aorund you.

This would suit someone who has worked in a software engineering capacity, but has moved in to DevOps methodologies and has experience with Linux, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and C++.

The candidate needs to be confident to work independently, but ultimately be willing to be involved in growing a team to deal with increase in demand. Leadership experience would be a huge advantage to this role, as there will be a need for you to scale the team over coming months.

Key Skills

  • Strong Linux background
  • Experience with AWS cloud environments
  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • Configuration of CICD tools Infrastructure as code

Role

In your role as Director of Technology and Data you will lead the group ICT, digital, programme delivery, data integrity and intelligence functions. You will manage risk and keep at the forefront of digital innovation, through the use of emerging technologies to deliver the best in customer services.

Leadership

* To lead, coach, support and develop staff
* You will promote positive approaches to ensure that all operations comply with all Group policies and legal requirements in Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity.
* Monitoring performance against KPIs and use data to inform decision making and drive improvements in terms of cost, quality and productivity.
* The continuous assessment of Risk and actively implement controls and improvement measures to mitigate risks to customers, property and staff.
* Active Leadership and transformation of operations and services.
* Consistent horizon scanning of the external environment to keep abreast of changes in legislation, good practice to lead and develop cutting edge practices
* To outline the priorities within the functional area and align the appropriate resources to meet operational plans and deliver the Group's Corporate Plan.

* Lead on ICT purchasing, leasing, contracting, licensing, outsourcing, hosting etc. to ensure to mitigate risks associated with ICT procurement.
* Provide reliable, robust and secure ICT services across the group.
* Lead the implementation of effective data governance processes to ensure that data can be extracted and combined (from multiple owners) using appropriate software.
* You will evaluate the skills, talents and development needs of the ICT and data integrity and intelligence teams and put in place resourcing and development plans
* Manage the resilience of ICT systems, including business recovery, penetration testing etc.

Person Specification

* Degree in relevant business discipline
* Previous experience of working as an ICT Director in a Digital environment
* Experience of developing, delivering and maintaining Cyber Security Defences
* Expertise in ITIL, IS02000 and ISO27000
* Demonstrable expertise in Systems Architecture & Technical Design
* Experience of technologies such as CRM, ERP, Mobile Apps, Telephony, SAAS and network security
* Strong Leadership & Influencing skills
* Experience of managing teams of 20 +
* Previous Project Management experience (Prince II) preferred
