They are looking for a Kentico Web Developer (ASP .Net) to join a team of backend developers who are delivering solutions for some of the biggest brands in Ireland. Reporting to the Head of Technology, we are looking for an energetic problem solver with a third level IT qualification, knowledge of .Net and a minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in a development team.
 

The Role
• Delivering and supporting clients on the Kentico CMS platform from version 5.5 to version 11.
• Ensuring project requirements are coded, tested and delivered to the highest standards within allocated budgets & schedules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues/bugs on existing deployments as part of ongoing customer technical support.
• Work with User Experience and Frontend developers to deliver new and innovate solutions to our clients.
• Conduct technical workshops with clients to ensure the correct solution is delivered to fit in with their technology goals and current infrastructure.
• Complete technical specification documents detailing out the implementation of each project.

Experience
• A minimum of 3+ years’ experience
• Proficient in ASP.NET (C#), including Web Forms development, MVC development, and Web Services.
• Good knowledge of commercial .NET content management software Kentico
• Knowledge of server environments e.g. IIS, Apache Tomcat & Linux.
• Knowledge of SQL Server.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS & Angular is an advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Can adapt to new skills and challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel to client sites as necessary.

Familiar / Bonus
• Wider CMS knowledge - Magento, OpenCMS, Drupal, Sitefinity

They will help forge the framework for integrating machine learning for data discovery; this includes integrating algorithms and productionizing the use of them to run across a parallel processed environment.

  • Collaborate in the production and development of data discovery solutions and integration of new models 
  • Design and build predictive models that substantially increase the value that we provide to our customers and the efficiency of our operations by building automation of the data landscape.
  • Working with Product Managers, software developers and subject matter experts, and also bring your own expertise to the team, helping to move from abstract concepts, through design and build, to scalable algorithms that will deliver the discovery goals. 
  • Contribute to specifying the underlying infrastructure we are building to support data discovery and enable models to be easily productionised and run at scale. 
  • Produce data visualizations that effectively communicate information related to where data discovery is needed for business case objectives. 

Experience Required 

  • Use of Machine Learning methods to analyze large and complex datasets 
  • Experience of pattern recognition and function approximation, uncovering relationship between variables 
  • Deep Learning using multi-layer neural networks, as well as reinforcement learning approaches 
  • Theoretical and practical experience of using supervised Machine Learning: regressions, classifications; Unsupervised Machine Learning: clustering, factor analyses as well as methods of Deep and Reinforcement Learning.

This is an incredible position for an ideal candidate with a great passion and enthusiasm for SQL servers. You would be working in a diverse environment with a SQL Server estate which will be migrating to the cloud.

Large scale enterprise SQL Server environment. For success you must have a very solid SQL Server background at top DBA level. There are ongoing projects in trend to migrating they're on premises IaaS onto Azure.

Successful candidate will be expected to have some Azure / PaaS knowledge, but our client is flexible on cloud experience and are prepared to give lots of exposure, training and development around Azure PaaS, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Core Requirements:

  • MSSQL Server 2012/2014/2016/2017
  • Database administration both on premise and in cloud platforms
  • SQL Server estate = 40 DBs on-prem/IaaS & 70 DBs in Azure PaaS
  • Automation using (IaC) Terraform
