Incident Manager required on a 6 month basis. Inside of IR35

You will be working for a well known company who is looking for an Incident Manager on a 6 month contract - this role is inside scope of IR35.

Role Description
Incident Manager is responsible for the effective management to resolution of major and significant incidents within the ESR Infrastructure. They will work with multiple stakeholders and also drive efficiency improvements whilst effectively prioritising the key tasks associated with incidents. The incident Manager will liaise closely with other ITIL practitioners within the organisation and will demonstrate ongoing ownership and commitment to quality in every aspect of the role.

Required Skills
ITIL qualified in Incident / Problem Management at Practitioner level or equivalent
Foundation ITIL or equivalent
Strong Communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a collaborative environment
Ability to provide legible targeted and relevant MI
High level understanding of IT Architectural Infrastructure
Min of 3 years experience in similar or equivalent role
Ability to self manage and self motivate
Ability to inter-prate technical details for non technical recipients
Document and Implement verifiable process improvements
Ensure adherence and provide updates to existing policies, processes and procedures documentations
Facilitate / and or chair meetings

A IT Configuration Manager is required by our Global Financial Services client for an initial 6 month contract based in Apsley. You will use your professional experience as an IT configuration manager to support the workflow application working on a redress programme

You must be able to work to key deadlines and to the quality expected. You will play a major part in delivering the best output possible, primarily focusing on:

* Working with the business to gain requirements in order to understand changes that must be made to the application

* Participating in requirements gathering sessions

* Taking the tasks assigned to you, and configuring the solution to the required business needs


Key Skills:

* Methodical & detail-oriented

* Technically Minded and Business Focussed

* Knowledge of MS Visio and Process Mapping

* Ability to explain complex concepts in plain English

* Experience working directly with Operational end users

* Ability to eloquently communicate with Business Stakeholders and External Vendors

* Experienced user of I.T. systems

* Experience of MS Sequel Server set-up

* Experienced in an I.T. department

* Able to become system SME and Champion

* Experience both in building and performing MS Word Mail Merge (templates, bookmarks)

* Ability to think through a process from end-to-end

* Demonstrable capacity for abstract thought

* Competence in building & editing spreadsheets

* Capable of writing non-trivial spreadsheet cell formulae, using the IF statement


Desirable Skills:

* Understand concepts around Quality Control and Quality Assurance (Check The Checker)

* Analytical mind-set

* Knowledge of project delivery methodologies and frameworks

* Ability to react to and embrace change

* Appreciation of basic database concepts (tables, rows, columns)

Required Qualifications
