Opportunity for a UI developer (React) to deliver senior technology alongside an agile team that works closely with the Internal Audit team at a Tier 1 investment bank.
The right candidate will be responsible for UI software development life cycle, primarily focused on improving the user experience. You will also work closely with the other developers in determining and providing solutions to new business requirements whilst building the new strategic platform which will transform the way in which the bank performs risk assessments. This involves proposing and providing feedback from experience/knowledge improving UX and user workflow.
Candidates wishing to apply must demonstrate advanced knowledge around the skills mentioned below:
- Multiple years software development experience building required functionality and front-end UI.
- Strong development skills and experience with React, Redux, JavaScript and HTML.
- Excellent knowledge of programming best practices, design patterns.
- Strong interest in continuous improvement and all aspects of software development and delivery.
- Comfortable working in an Agile environment and experience working with Jira.
- Strong understanding of test-driven development and continuous integration practices (Team City experience beneficial).
- Good communication skills, both orally and in writing. Comfortable interacting with front office users.
- Good analytical skills; able to understand, formalise and explain complex problems.
- Confident numeracy and solid academic background.
