We are working with a global leader in the travel space looking to hire multiple Senior C# Engineers to build applications used by millions globally.
With many big projects ahead, this team's roadmap is filled to the brim with exciting projects for Senior C# Engineer's to sink their teeth into. These projects include building Greenfield applications used by millions, rewriting entire applications in .NET Core, and rewriting and a migration to Azure cloud and Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
The applications that they are building need to be able to deal with over 200 million transactions an hour at peak times. In order to meet these requirements, the business insists all of its Senior C# Engineers follow best practices by unit testing all code and adhering to SOLID principles at all times.
As a Senior C# Engineer, you will be integral to the success of these projects, taking ownership of several services. This will see you making all technical decisions required to ensure these services are robust, tested, and scalable.
They are all about an inclusive and open engineering culture, ensuring that your voice is heard. This has resulted in an environment where engineers feel comfortable to suggest new technologies and see them though to implementation.
To become a Senior C# Engineer in this team, you will need:
- Experience working on highly transactional and widely distrusted applications.
- Prior experience with C#, SQL, and Web API.
- A respect for clean code and following SOLID principles.
- Experience Unit testing your own code.
- Experience deploying code in a continuous integration/ deployment environment.
- A high-level understanding of what makes a well-architected application.
