My successful client is seeking to add a top class Senior Embedded Software Engineer to their team.

The role will be technically challenging, as well as offering a chance to grow your experience across a variety of projects especially with the field of medical devices. 

You will be an interface between the external client and the development team, so you need fine tuned communications skills as well as the ability to manage client expectations. 

The successful engineer will be expected to work successfully with external and internal clients, and to be able to deliver effective client presentations and project briefings. 

Your Experience

You will have most of the following :

  • Excellent embedded software development experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with clients and in suppporting and mentoring less experienced engineers.
  • Expert knowledge of real-time operating systems - RTOS and embedded systems programming (C/C++ expertise).
  • Multithreaded applications with hard real-time constraints.
  • Experience developing with microcontrollers such as  TI MSP430 , Microchip PIC microcontrollers, STMicro, NXP, Cypress, Maxim, Samsung etc. devices
  • Experience of 8-bit miicrocontrollers, 16-bit microcontrollers, 32-bit microcontrollers . 
  • Experience of ARM based MPU/MCU based systems.
  • Solid understanding of system architectures
  • Managing  throughput/memory/ Low power mode optimizations.
  • Embedded software for HV systems like ECGs, MRI, patient monitors, infusion pumps, diagnostic devices etc.
