Software Engineer required to join our client in West Sussex.
Due to an up and coming retirement we are looking for a Software Engineer to come and join one of the largest aerospace and defence corporations on the globe!

What is the role?
As the Software Engineer you will design and develop real-time simulation software and applications to support the building of synthetic environment databases used on visual systems. When modellers are building these simulations it can be very time consuming, as the Software Engineer you will be working closely with the modellers to design tools that can automatically populate environments and certain details.
As a Software Engineer, some of your duties include:
- Design, code, test, integrate at document software.
- Expand capability of existing solutions using advanced techniques or changes to requirements.
- Perform debugging and integration of software components above and below currently developed software.
- Design and develop applications and databases to make them more enhanced with increased functionality for modellers.
- Identify root cause of moderate to complex software and system issues.
What are we looking for?
To be considered for the Software Engineer role, we are looking for:
- Degree qualification within a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths).
- Strong experience of software development using C++.
- Experience or strong interest with modelling and simulation systems.
- Knowledge or experience working with web based languages (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
