MS CRM Developer needed to join Capita Application Services. As the CRM developer you will join an already existing, talented Dynamics 365 team.

As the CRM developer you will be responsible for the following;

  • Delivery of application modules using the MS Dynamics 365 (Online) SDKs and C#.NET along with related technologies such as WCF, MS SQL SSRS and JS based frameworks such as AngularJS;
  • Undertake development activities including planning, estimating, design, creation, testing, data migration, documentation and the release of MS Dynamics 365 implementations;

Skills required;

  • Good class degree in Computing / Information Technology (e.g. BSc, minimum 2:1) or equivalent;
  • Good working knowledge of agile software development and test-driven development methodologies;
  • Strong working knowledge of the MS Dynamics 365/CRM 2016/2015/2013/2011 SDKs and C#;
  • Good knowledge of application development, using the MS Dynamics 365/CRM 2016/2015/2013/2011 SDK, C#, SSRS, SSRS;
  • Knowledge of customising and extending Microsoft Dynamics CRM, in particular plug-ins and workflows;
  • Knowledge of design patterns (such as MVVM), MEF, Reactive Extensions and Windows Workflow desirable;
  • Good knowledge of business processes;
  • Good knowledge of WCF Web Services, SOAP and XML;
  • Good working knowledge of version control methods and software such as Visual Studio Team Service/Team Foundation Server;
  • Microsoft Dynamics certification desirable (Microsoft Certified IT Professional);

Knowledge of SharePoint desirable.

Duties/Description

Substantial experience as a software developer specifically working with NAV C/SIDE C/AL development language SQL Experience Test-first/Test Driven Development (TDD) experience.

The role in Staffordshire can be based in the office for 2 days and then can work for 3 days at home. The NAV Developer’s primary responsibility is to carry out all configuration and development activities to the company’s Microsoft Dynamics NAV system. In addition to this, you will be required to analyse and contribute to functional specifications provided by business users and produce technical specifications in line with customers, with additional activities using SQL and .NET, and creating integrations to Dynamics NAV

  • Configure, develop and deliver MS Dynamics NAV software and components in all functional areas
  • Create/modify existing customisations and integrations as requested by the business
  • Debug system problems, design and implement resolutions
  • Installation and implementation of service packs and hot fixes as needed
  • Technical liaison to business groups for application support
  • Support and drive process change and communication in line with NAV best practice
  • Assist with functional specifications of customisations and integrations required for NAV implementations
  • Provide 3rd level support to Service Desk
  • Assist in training junior team members
  • Work with key stakeholders in the business to gather application requirements and provide estimates
  • Take responsibility for delivering development tasks within agreed timelines
  • Coordinate and contribute to end-user training including development of system documentation and training materials
