Joining a fast moving, dynamic team, the Test & Support Analyst will be responsible for testing of both internally and externally supplied systems whilst assisting with providing 1st line support to the business. The ideal candidate will need to understand web development concepts and have experience with SQL and API testing. The candidate will be expected to become a subject matter expert in the product suite over time and to become involved in automated testing activities.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform manual testing for software releases of both internal and externally supplied software.
  • Assisting with testing of project implementation and live support fixes with the goal of live delivery.
  • Writing & executing test cases and test plans.
  • Contributing to automated regression test libraries.
  • Working with all aspects of JIRA including creating Test Plans.
  • Assisting with 1st line support and issue triage.

What we'd need you to have

  • Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience in manual testing (UAT/SIT) and regression testing
  • Experience with API testing (Postman, SoapUI)
  • Able to write basic SQL queries and understand database fundamentals (MySql or T-SQL)
  • Familiar with usage of bug tracking software (Jira or other)
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile methodologies
