SQL Developer - UK REMOTE - up to £35,000

Are you looking for an exciting, stimulating job that allows you to also balance busy lifestyle? You'll be collaborating on several development projects where collaboration and teamwork is part and parcel of the job.

A data driven marketing consultancy are looking for a talented SQL Developer to join the team and help deliver marketing strategies to clients. You will be helping design and develop SQL Server Databases, pulling customer data, integrations and importing data from multiple formats to create a single customer view. This role is 100% home based which is a fantastic benefit which requires a disciplined, driven individual able to manage your own desk and produce high quality of work. This role also involves communicating with clients regularly so you will need strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-experts.

They'll provide you with all the needed equipment and will even cover broadband and phone costs too! Even though you'll be based remotely you'll experience a great environment and a team who genuinely enjoy working with each other and attend regular socials.

Responsibilities

  • Building & maintaining multiple SQL Server databases
  • Work on multiple SQL development projects at one time
  • Communicate with clients to understand their business requirements
  • Importing data from various sources
  • Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures
  • Creation of views, Performance tuning and Optimisation

Requirements

  • Strong experience working with SQL Server (2008-2016)
  • ETL experience and data integration knowledge with SSIS
  • T-SQL programming experience: writing stored procedures; functions; views
  • Ability to manage & prioritise own workload
  • Good communicator
