C++ Developer - 2 month contract (poss. of ext.)

Location: Nottingham
Rate: £300-450/day (meritocratic, so DOE)

If you're fed up with dealing with the mess that is IR35, you're a C++ Developer with a good background and a knowledge of IoT Services, and you're available for the next 2 months, this one's for you.

The company develop state of the art cooling systems for companies all over the world, and their software supports a range of IoT services (which, in turn, supports the hardware - it's a beautiful synergy).

As this is a contract role, you don't need to be someone who has extensive experience leading teams or handling office politics, the CTO is simply looking for someone who can provide some additional support and (hopefully) guidance to the other developers over the next few months.

You'll need to get up to speed quite quickly, but the company culture is very relaxed and they're not expecting you to automagically understand every aspect of their code base. You will, however, need to have experience with:

• C++ 14 (or earlier versions are fine)
• C++ for IoT would be a huge bonus due to the nature of the work you'll be doing
• Debian 9
• Linux in general
• They also have some outsourced teams, so you will need to be okay with communicating with them

There's a possibility of extension in the event that new projects come in, so if things do go quite well here you could be around for longer as well!

Due to company size and turnover, this role is exempt from IR35.

I am currently recruiting for a C# developer for a client based in Chelmsford, to join their current development team in aid to upgrade existing and develop new Microsoft plugins, post-launch of their new website. You would be working in a team of 5 developers all working with C# and .Net.

The expected timeframe of the project is 5 months and the contract would be valued as inside IR35 however it does offer remote working opportunities 3 times a week. The initial budget for the role is being around £350 per day, however, they would consider 2 junior options at a lower rate or a candidate who justifies a higher rate.

Commercial experience in the following is required:

• C# (3 years)
• .Net (3 years)
• SQL (2 years)
• Azure or Gsuite
• Winforms
